I first decided to create my own mirror when I found a plain old antique wardrobe mirror. I wondered what I could do with it as I had no wardrobe to attach it to. However, what I did want, were eleborate mirrors to hang in my period villa... so I set about creating my own from the old wardrobe mirror.
By decorating the old mirror using hand moulded decorations and embellishments, I created exactly what I had wanted - something very personal, effecective and most importantly... elaborate! It took many days to create but the effort and effect was worth it.
So, MIRROR IMAGE was formed.
I am able to create whatever designs and embellishments that you want from roses to cherubs, skulls to dragons, fairies to mermaids, flowers, birds etc etc... the choice is yours! All are individually handmoulded or sculpted by myself, in fact every part of the frame is uniquely handcrafted by myself especially designed to meet your requirments! You can choose the colours, size... everything! I love to recycle (& Upcycle!) so just adore using or re-inventing old antique/retro mirrors and give them character & ambience. I also use new mirrors... whatever comes can be adapted - size no problem.
